Pipes and More

Dan is an avid performer of traditional Irish music, and studied the uilleann (Irish) pipes in Ireland with notable pipers including Eamonn Brophy, Mick O'Brien, Neillidh Mulligan, and others. He regularly plays with his own Boston-based group, the quartet Ulster Landing, and is also the piper/whistle player for the band Ishna. In addition to these ensembles, he performs as a solo piper for weddings, funerals, theatrical productions and more, and his piping is featured on the soundtrack of the film Rooters: The Birth of Red Sox Nation.
